Our volunteering programs
SUMMER SCHOOL
As part of this project, volunteers will have the opportunity to provide academic support to primary and middle school students. The classes will be taught according to a predetermined curriculum. Each class will be led by one national volunteer and one international volunteer, facilitating effective communication with the students, particularly those who may struggle with accents.
Program objectives:
Provide academic support to children by assisting them with preparing for the next school year.
Conduct non-formal educational activities to enhance creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Create a safe and supportive space where children can learn, grow, and express themselves freely.
Program activities:
Educational Enrichment: Volunteers will organize interactive sessions to explain school topics in a simplified manner, allowing children to deepen their knowledge and understanding.
Non-Formal Activities: Volunteers will conduct non-formal educational activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, sports, and music, providing children with opportunities for creative expression and skill development.
Cultural Exchange: Volunteers will share their own cultural traditions, languages, and experiences with the children, promoting cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
Program logistics:
Location: Rural areas of Togo
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks, anytime between the last week of July and the first week of September
Schedule: Volunteers will dedicate 4 hours each morning, Monday through Friday, to teaching.
Accommodation: Volunteers will be provided with safe and comfortable accommodation in the local community.
Meals: Meals are provided as part of the program.
Project transportation: Airport pickup and drop off, and the transportation to and back from the village of the project is provided as part of the program.
Support: Local coordinators will provide orientation, guidance, and support throughout the program.
PROGRAM FEE: 99 € / week

AFTER SCHOOL
Our After School Program offers volunteers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children in Lome, the capital city of Togo. Volunteers will engage in various activities aimed at providing academic support, fostering personal development, and creating a supportive learning environment for children outside of regular school hours.
Program objectives:
Provide academic support to children by assisting them with homework and explaining school topics to deepen their understanding.
Conduct non-formal educational activities to enhance creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Create a safe and supportive space where children can learn, grow, and express themselves freely.
Program activities:
Homework Assistance: Volunteers will assist children with their homework assignments, providing guidance and support as needed.
Educational Enrichment: Volunteers will organize interactive sessions to explain school topics in a simplified manner, allowing children to deepen their knowledge and understanding.
Non-Formal Activities: Volunteers will conduct non-formal educational activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, sports, and music, providing children with opportunities for creative expression and skill development.
Program logistics:
Location: Lome, Togo
Duration: Flexible. Anytime during the academic year, between September and the first half of July.
Schedule: Volunteers will dedicate 4 hours each afternoon, Monday through Friday, to teaching.
Accommodation: Volunteers will be placed in a local family home, to experience the local life of living.
Meals: Meals are provided as part of the program.
Project transportation: Airport pickup and drop off is provided as part of the program.
Support: Local coordinators will provide orientation, guidance, and support throughout the program.
