ACET-TOGO has recognized a significant challenge in the education sector, particularly in rural areas.
Many parents lack the resources to support their children's education, leading to increased dropout rates and negative outcomes like involvement in crime and substance abuse.
To address these issues and support both parents and the government, ACET-TOGO is committed to sponsoring underprivileged children and youth.
-
Sponsorship involves a person called a sponsor to provide moral or material assistance to an individual (child, youth). For this purpose, ACET-TOGO has committed with school authorities and parents to ensure the success of these children.
-
Any person of goodwill who can provide support to underprivileged children, orphans, and youth without means.
-
Given the means of study, ACET-TOGO has set an amount of 60 €/year for primary school and 80 €/year for secondary school, which will cover the school year for sponsored children and youth. These 60 or 80 € help them pay for tuition fees and school supplies.
-
The sponsorship fee covers 1 academic year. The sponsorship of a child is renewable each year and is open to new individuals.
-
Sponsors will be informed about the progress of the sponsored child and will be in contact with their parents. The organization will contact each sponsor one month before the start of the school year.
